Communication Between Myself and The Social Worker of my Tutoring Student

I am able to recognize and respond to specific learning needs of individual or small groups of students and, when needed, collaborate with service providers and other specialists to design and provide targeted and specialized supports to enable achievement of the learning outcomes. I demonstrate this indicator when working with the MASST (Multi Agency School Support Team) to support my tutoring client who was identified as being high-risk.

In my classroom I strive to communicate a philosophy of education affirming that every student can learn and be successful. This is evidenced by the warm relationships and positive feedback I receive from my students on a regular basis. I also frequently employ classroom management strategies that promote positive, engaging learning environments. This is shown by the strong connections I have been able to foster with my students and their description of how they experienced learning in my classroom
